ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a skilled and motivated accountant looking to take the next step in your career? UVS Group is seeking an Accountant (with Pathway to Senior) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3+ years of experience who’s ready to grow into a senior role within a supportive and well-established company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO

Managing day-to-day accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll

Preparing and lodging BAS, PAYG, and superannuation reports

Assisting with monthly financial reports and end-of-year processes

Maintaining account reconciliations and supporting budget planning

Working with external accountants, auditors, and management

Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems and workflows

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting

CPA/CA qualified or working towards

Attitude! We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and eager to learn

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong attention to detail

Time management skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Proficiency in MYOB and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
