Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of warehouse operations at their Yennora site. This full-time, permanent role is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of all inbound and outbound warehouse activities—ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of stock and timely dispatch of goods.

You’ll play a critical leadership role in supervising the warehouse team, managing inventory, maintaining compliance with OH&S standards, and driving continuous improvement across all facets of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate warehouse staff including pickers, packers, and forklift operators. Set clear expectations, manage performance, and foster a positive, high-performing culture.

Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory accuracy—ensuring daily targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.

OH&S and Compliance: Drive a strong safety culture. Conduct regular safety checks, ensure team compliance with SOPs, and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Inventory & Stock Control: Manage stock levels and movements using WMS (preferably JDE), investigate discrepancies, and lead regular stocktakes.

Systems & Reporting: Utilise warehouse systems and RF scanning to monitor workflow, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments including purchasing, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth order processing and stock availability.

Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to boost productivity, reduce errors, and support business growth.

Qualifications & Experience

Demonstrated experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role within a busy distribution or logistics environment.

Current forklift licence and experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.

Strong understanding of warehouse systems; experience with JDE and RF scanning highly desirable.

Proven ability to lead teams, meet KPIs, and manage workloads effectively.

Sound knowledge of OH&S, warehouse compliance, and safe work practices.

Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
