Karuna is dedicated to alleviating suffering by fostering choice, agency, and quality of life for all. Through specialised end-of-life care and other holistic supports, we provide compassionate, dignity-centred guidance to individuals, carers, and the broader community. Support carers to set and achieve SMART goals using structured coaching tools
Empower carers with clarity, self-reflection, and practical action planning
Promote the service and build relationships with stakeholders and community networks
Maintain accurate notes and contribute to ongoing service improvement
What You’ll bring:
Essential
A Diploma in Community Services (or equivalent experience)
Active listening and excellent communication skills
Strong boundaries and emotional resilience
A current Driver’s Licence, Police Check, Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening
Tech confidence with MS Office and video platforms
Desirable
Experience in coaching, carer support, mental health, NDIS, or aged care
Fluency in another language and/or lived experience as a carer
Why Karuna:

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to access:
not-for-profit salary packaging benefits to increase take home pay
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and family members
A police check will be required for this role - we’ll coordinate it and cover the cost.
At Karuna, we’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team where everyone feels respected, valued, and supported. We welcome people of all backgrounds and ensure fair treatment throughout every stage of employment.
