We provide support though evidence-based practice to our organisational customers that hold an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with EASA.
We have over 250 EAPs and service the entire Northern Territory. Each year, we provide over 10,000 client sessions and provide over 3,000 hours of support at an organisational level through our CORP Workplace Solutions division. This organisational support consists of Critical Incident and Stress Management (CISM), Training, Coaching, Supervision, Conflict Resolution and a range of other HR Services.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and confident person who are all about promoting healthy mental wellbeing through their interactions, who can work independently & within a close-knit team, and who are able to nurture positive, caring, and compassionate relationships within our team and to those in our care - ESSENTIAL!
Where are we?
EASA has offices located in Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs with other services in Coolalinga, Jabiru, Tennant Creek and Gove. This role is based in DARWIN!
What is the role?
A rewarding CASUAL role exists for someone who is experienced, flexible and able to take on the tasks of a Receptionist/Administration Officer. Ideally you will be available to start IMMEDIATELY in an often fast-paced environment, joining a friendly and autonomous team of Clinicians & Staff.
As the first point of contact for EASA clients, this role is ideal for someone that is passionate about customer service with an interest in mental health and wellbeing.
Working Hours (will be the same every week with no changes):
- Monday 8:30am to 12:30pm
- Tuesday 11:30am to 6:30pm
- Wednesday 11:30am to 6:30pm
- Saturday 8:30am to 2:30pm
About this position
The role will be offered to someone who CAN WORK these shifts and at times, extra hours when a team member is on leave.
The right candidate will:
- Be passionate, enthusiastic, and confident
- Demonstrate skill and experience in a busy frontline customer service role
- Demonstrate pleasant, courteous telephone and reception manner
- Demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate competent IT literacy and working knowledge of MS Windows software
- Demonstrate experience with diary management and database applications or ability to learn quickly
- Liaise with, develop and maintain good client relationships with key stakeholders
- Supply evidence of a current Police Clearance, Ochre Card and Driving License
Key skills required for this role
- Be willing and able to function autonomously
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Willingness to take on challenges and learn new skills
- Be willing and able to work within a team
Desirable Criteria:
- Has experience working on projects and reporting tasks
- Fast learner
Psychological testing will form part of the selection process
