MilkBar is a growing business with venues under two premium residential building's around the CBD/Docklands. Primarily catering to the residents as a 7 day a week cafe, MilkBar also operates events and catering in the function spaces within the building. There is also the day to day corporate customer base at each venue which keeps the venue full Monday to Friday

MilkBar is looking for a general manager to oversee operations of both locations. A strong background in hands on management is crucial - as we are a growth business we need a manager willing to work all aspects of the business when needed, but with an eye to eventually having two venues fully managed and staffed. You might need to pull up the sleeves and make a coffee from time to time but by in large you will be managing a team of more than 20 employees and working on new menus and concepts for each site

The role requires cafe experience, event and restaurant knowledge as well as day to day admin tasks (rosters, ordering and hiring)
