Territory Agistment manages 1000ha of land across 16 horse agistment complexes. The horse paddock complexes are located within the suburbs of the ACT, bordering residential and nature park land.

This is a land management position and skills in fencing, water trough maintenance and operating a tractor and spray rig (boom and quikspray) will be highly regarded. You must have initiative and enjoy managing your own time to complete the various seasonal land management tasks.

The role includes checking paddocks, maintaining fences and water troughs, slashing, weed spraying, checking water meters and rotating herds through agistment paddocks. You will have an ability or willingness to learn tasks relating to grazing land management and some skills in pasture or land management. Demonstrated ability to keep records on horse movements and water use (reading and recording water meters). Suited to someone wanting to work on the land with the convenience of urban living and flexible hours.

You must have a current drivers licence.
