About the Opportunity
- Assess dogs suitability and train selected dogs to matching standards
- Support Seeing Eye Dogs Mobility Instructors to identify the best suitable match for each dog and client
- Train, coach, and support Trainee SED Trainers (as required)
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Seeing Eye Dogs program

About You
- Qualified as a Guide Dog Trainer with an organisation accredited by the International Guide Dog Federation.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including walking approx.12 kilometres a day in all weather, and handling young, active dogs.
- Understand and apply current animal welfare and dog training principles
- Current driver's licence and ability to travel independently and safely transport dogs and supplies is required
