Position Overview:

Due to continued growth, we have a Full-Time position available for an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong background supervising heavy construction projects to join our team based in Banyo, Brisbane, QLD.

This role will see you lead and coordinate the delivery of electrical scopes on complex construction projects across heavy industrial sites. You’ll be responsible for overseeing on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes. You’ll work across a diverse range of projects, including heavy industrial, control systems, hazardous areas, HV switching, and Type B applications, providing both leadership and hands-on technical expertise.

This is not a FIFO/DIDO position; however, the successful candidate must be willing to work away and commit to project hours as required to support operations across Australia.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the electrical delivery of construction projects across heavy industrial sectors, coordinating workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure daily operations run smoothly and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Prepare and manage safety documentation, including JHAs and SWMS, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.

Oversee procurement activities, ensuring materials, tooling, and equipment are ordered, maintained, and available as required.

Verify all on-site electrical and instrumentation work meets technical standards, safety regulations, and quality expectations.

Liaise with project managers, the engineering team, and clients to meet project specifications and expectations.

Assist with project scoping, estimation, and tender submissions, supporting accurate planning and budgeting.

Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to reinforce safety and compliance across all activities.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to electricians and E&I technicians, fostering a strong team culture.

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting, including records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for project execution.

Qualification & Experience Required:

Current QLD Electrical Licence.​

Valid Open Driver’s Licence

White Card.​

Current EEHA Certificate (Within the last 3 years).​

Minimum 5-10 years post-trade experience as an Industrial Electrician.

Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Electrical Supervisor within the construction industry.

Strong leadership, organisational, and time management skills.​

Proven experience in delivering projects within budget and compliance.​

Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.​

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.​

Strong communication and teamwork skills.​

Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety standards, focusing on continuous improvement.

Desirable Qualifications:

Current HV Switching (Within the last 3 years).​

Cert III or IV in Instrumentation & Control
