About the role

Power Up Electrical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Project Leading hand to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing electrical projects for commercial clients across the region.

What you'll be doing

Perform and coordinate electrical scope on commercial construction projects including managing of other electricians and apprentices

Management of multiple sub-contractors including but not limited to Communications, Security, AV, Solar etc.

Manage project schedules, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery

Liaise with clients, consultants and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

Mentor and train junior electricians to develop their skills and expertise

Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise on site

Maintain detailed records and documentation for each project

What we're looking for

Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial electrical projects

Proven track record of leading and supervising electrical teams on complex commercial projects

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to quickly resolve issues on site

Thorough understanding of relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

Proficient in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior electricians
