There is a current opening for a self-motivated, high achiever to join our busy finance team. This position is full time Monday to Friday, working a 42-hour week and will be based at our Prospect business support office.
The successful applicant will be required to supervise our team of two Finance Assistants and provide direct support to the Finance Manager and general support to a number of other senior staff.
Your Key Duties:
• Manage Accounts Payable function from end to end & perform key account reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Receivable function with support of Branch Sales Support
• Manage daily Banking & Data reconciliations
• Perform General Ledger reconciliations and journals
• Manage Freight claims & Supplier/Customer Rebates processes
• Maintain system documentation and perform staff training
• Provide support to Merchandise and Payroll
Our Key Requirements of you
• Prior relevant experience in a senior finance role is essential.
• Recent experience with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) to a high level of competence is essential.
• Experience with SAP Business One or Pronto Xi would be an advantage.
