About the Role:
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-driven WHS Administrator to join our team and support the development and delivery of safe practices across our varied facilities and operations. This position is for a 1 year fixed term contract working 20 hours per week.
This part time role is ideal for someone looking to gain a hands-on experience in supporting WHS initiatives within the sporting organisation, while enjoying the flexibility and work-life balance. Working closely with the Safety and Risk Advisor, this role will help in ensuring compliance, risk reduction, and promoting a culture of safety across sporting operations and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurate WHS data entry and system maintenance using our new safety platform
Supporting WHS projects and contributing to continuous system improvements
Assisting with WHS investigations and gathering information for incident reviews
Reviewing and updating risk assessments and incident report documentation
Supporting the identification and implementation of hazard control measures
Participating in internal WHS audits and benchmarking activities
Assisting in the review and update of WHS policies and procedures
About You:
1–2 years’ experience in WHS administration or similar safety/compliance roles
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (required); a related degree is highly regarded
Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data and documentation
Strong communication and collaboration skills across varied stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital WHS systems
A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement
