Responsibilities:

Join a small team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining Medicnet's online medical invoicing software and medical billing service.

Manage your own projects from start to finish.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Drive project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Provide guidance and support to other team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility by navigating through evolving project priorities and timelines.

Use your strong soft skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Maintain and enhance existing codebase, utilising your expertise in PHP, MySQL, Drupal 10, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Ensure code quality, scalability, and security through diligent testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

We prioritise demonstrated skills and experience over formal qualifications, so to shine in this role you will need:

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with expertise in PHP, MySQL, Drupal 8, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Strong project lead experience, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage and deliver projects on time.

Adaptable and open-minded approach.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Australian work rights and the ability to work remotely on a full-time basis (we supply all of your IT equipment).

While not mandatory, experience with DHS ECLIPSE (Department of Human Services Electronic Claim Lodgement and Information Processing Service Environment) will be very highly regarded (so make sure you highlight it in your application!)
