TBP Services is a local company that has been operating in Southern coalfields, Western Coalfields, Southern Highlands, Shoalhaven and Wollongong region successfully since 2015.

TBP Services has recently been awarded contracts working in manufacturing and energy industries and is looking to fulfil roles in the following areas:

Fitters

Electricians

Boiler makers

Riggers

TBP Services is currently recruiting Longwall Fitters, Longwall Electricians and Longwall Operators to perform Longwall relocations in the district at various mines over the next 2 years.

We are also seeking mechanical and electrical trades for development, diesel, outbye and coal clearance roles.

We are looking for candidates that are highly motivated, highly skilled, conscientious, work well in team environment, and have a strong commitment to safety.

To be successful with your application you must have the following skills and qualifications for underground mining work:

Minimum 1 year underground experience

Current Order 43 medical or willing to attend medical

Current NSW mines rescue generic induction and current CABA certification or willing to obtain.

Fitters- Have or willing to obtain

Hydralics I & II

Dogging

Diesel Engine Systems training (DES)

Electricians- Have or willing to obtain

Electrical contractors licence

Current First Aid Certificate

Electrical Engineering in hazardous areas (EEHA) for underground coal candidates

Plant Mechanics

Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic trade

Experience working on CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi

Operators

Heavy Haulage experience underground with Authorisations such as Mine Dozer, MH40, LWC, Chariots, RFB

Desirable

Work unaccompanied

Current or previous Authorisations and RPL evidence

Ability to operate Longwall associated plant and equipment to assist with Longwall relocation.

OEM training or work history

Boilermakers

Trade certificate

White card

Ability to read, interpret and fabricate/weld according to workshop drawings

Riggers

High risk work licence (HRWL) Intermediate or Advanced

White Card

Experienced working on industrial sites with mobile and gantry cranes

Assisting and working in large crews

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected, tight knit team on long term projects in the Illawarra region.

Successful applicants will be rewarded with high remuneration package, an opportunity to be given a full-time position, the option to work Weekday or weekend rosters.

Only experienced underground trades and operators will be considered for the underground mining roles. However, successful applicants that take work in manufacturing and energy will be considered for training and entry into underground work if they desire.

The roles offered vary across multiple fields, servicing a wide range of industry sectors. This provides opportunity to work on different equipment, maintain skill set and interest while offering growth and development on a professional level.
