About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team at BFW Contracting PTY LTD in West Wyalong, NSW. This is a casual role with an opportunity to evolve into a full time position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your needs.

What you'll be doing

Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy mobile equipment, including excavators, dozers, and haul trucks

Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing effective repair solutions

Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate records of work performed

Assisting with the ordering and management of parts and supplies

Ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to all relevant safety protocols

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Heavy Diesel Fitting, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role

Extensive knowledge of heavy mobile equipment, including excavators, dozers, and haul trucks

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

A valid driver's licence and the ability to work in a team environment
