We are seeking talented, values driven and solution focused HR professionals to join the HR Business Partnering team at the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS).
We currently have a 12-month fixed-term full-time vacancy with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency
What is our Senior HR Business Partner role?
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic, operational and technical HR advice and coaching to NMHS managers and directors in relation to HR matters, with a strong linkage across all functional areas within the People and Culture Directorate. In this role, you will be empowered to partner with operational leads to support the delivery of strategic HR plans, projects and solutions, improving organisational performance and productivity to meet NMHS objectives. The role reports to the Manager HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition and Projects.
A successful candidate should demonstrate the following attributes:
- Experience in coaching and partnering with leaders and managers to build their people management capabilities in a complex service organisation;
- Demonstrable track record of achieving results in a senior HR role;
- Demonstrated high level communication, negotiation and influencing skills with different stakeholders;
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical and research skills, with experience in the provision of proactive and innovative solutions to complex problems; and
- Resonate with NMHS’s values of: Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork and Integrity.

Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
