SNSW Grade: 7/8, base pay from $102,899 - $121,317 + superannuation and leave loading
Employment Type: Temporary Full-time to 30 September 2027
Location: Sydney
Hybrid: Currently one day per week in office (McKell preferred)
This role sits within the Internal Engagement team in the Customer Care and Business Bureau division of Service NSW.
About the team
The Internal Engagement team sits within the Customer Care and Business Bureau division and is responsible for developing and delivering an impactful Internal Engagement program that aims to empower, inform and engage our division.
You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of effective internal content and engagement initiatives that support our people and strategic priorities.

Your day-to-day
- Write and develop engaging content across various internal comms channels (including email and newsletter copy, SharePoint content, Viva Engage social media posts, PowerPoint slide packs and speaking notes, etc)
- Work closely with the Manager and Senior Advisor to deliver all staff hybrid meetings and events -coordinating speakers and content, and providing on-site and online support
- Champion and support the delivery of the Internal Engagement program, which includes health and wellbeing activities, professional development and training opportunities, as well as social events
- Provide advice and guidance on best practice internal communications and engagement and participate in activities and initiatives that improve and enhance the employee experience within CCBB and Service NSW.
- Build and maintain working relationships within CCBB and with Service NSW business areas to understand priorities and issues, negotiate and influence outcomes
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop content and present to a range of internal stakeholders
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and identify areas for improvement
- Energetic and adaptable, with the ability to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines
- Experienced in event coordination and adept at putting your organisation skills to the test
- Experience using Viva Engage, SharePoint and Campaign Monitor highly regarded
Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at 102,899 base plus superannuation.
