Our client is a thriving Financial Services institution on an exciting growth trajectory. Based in Melbourne's CBD, they have seen a dedicated period of development in specialist markets, industry leadership and digital advancement.

Offering a Hybrid Working arrangement and strong mentorship from senior leadership, they are seeking a talented and confident accounting professional to join the team and take ownership of key Accounting and Regulatory responsibilities.

This role will ideally suit a strong communicator, experienced in stakeholder management who thrives in a high-paced environment.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is responsible for:

• Month-end closing duties including Accruals, Prepayments and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
• Monthly and Quarterly APRA reporting.
• Calculating monthly commissions.
• Ad hoc projects as necessary.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role the ideal candidate should have:

• A CA/CPA qualification
• Strong communication skills, with confidence in stakeholder management and an interest in cross-collaboration.
• Ideally experience in Financial Services - this is strongly preferred.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail.
