About the role

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Junior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team at Fortress Interlocks Pty Limited' in Lynbrook, Victoria. As a Junior Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts and contributing to the continued growth of our business. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in the sales engineering field.

What you'll be doing

Assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying sales opportunities

Provide technical support and solutions to potential customers

Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase our products and services

Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to stay up-to-date on the latest offerings

Maintain accurate records and documentation of sales activities and customer interactions

Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives

Attend industry events and participate in networking activities to build relationships and expand our reach

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Sales or a related field

Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and internal stakeholders

Familiarity with sales processes and a keen interest in the sales engineering field

Demonstrated ability to write quote and use Salesforce to follow leads and opportunities will be advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends

Previous experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role is preferred, but not essential
