Technical Sales Engineer

Do you have a passion for developing engineering construction solutions and a talent for building relationships? We have the role for you! Our Technical Sales Engineer role offers the perfect blend of engineering, sales, strategy and project delivery.

As a Technical Sales Engineer you will be a part of the Technical Sales team providing support to both the commercial and operational functions to deliver best in class customer service and product.

The Opportunity

The Technical Sales Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the success of construction projects by providing both pro-active and re-active technical support to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

Undertaking technical and site enquiries to resolve project design issues.

Educating specifiers on the recommended application and installation of Leviat’s range of products.

Providing support to sales activities including EOIs, tenders and product testing and approvals for major projects.

Ensuring relevant customer information is captured to assist with sales strategy.

Promoting engineering construction solutions to external stakeholders during conferences, trade shows and sponsored events.

Organising and conducting technical seminars webinars to engineers, architects and consultants.

Build and maintain internal and external customer relationships.

Analyse and explore market trends, identifying new opportunities/risk analysis, and potential income streams/acquisitions.

Collaborating with other internal departments to provide technical solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Passion for developing engineering construction solutions and a talent for building relationships

Qualification in building or engineering

Technical, analytical and problem solving skills

Presentation, negotiation and communication skills

Strong ability to influence and form relationships with key internal stakeholders

Confidence in delivering presentations to small groups and senior management

Ability to effectively work independently, solve problems and demonstrate proactivity

Full rights to work permanently in Australia
