AusRAMD Engineering, a leader in Rail Turnout manufacturing and design, is seeking a Sales Engineer to play a Strategic Role Position in Sales, supporting the delivery of high-value Rail infrastructure Projects.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer at AusRAMD Engineering, you will play a vital role in managing the full lifecycle of client engagement—from tendering and quoting to contract setup and technical support. Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing and interpreting engineering tenders and technical specifications.
Engaging with clients to clarify requirements and collect key project data.
Preparing accurate and competitive quotes using historical data, supplier input, and cost analysis.
Conducting site visits as needed to verify project details.
Analysing supplier options and evaluating proposals based on time, cost, quality, and terms.
Finalising and submitting tenders professionally and on time, with complete documentation.
Tracking and managing all tender-related correspondence and conducting timely follow-ups.
Initiating smooth project handovers to the Design and Engineering teams.
You will also:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and support strategic business growth.
Provide technical consultation throughout the sales cycle and during project discussions.
Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Collaborate with internal teams—including production, quality, and engineering—to ensure alignment on deliverables.
Contribute technical content for proposals, marketing material, and presentations.
🎓 About You
Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Required (Mechanical, Civil, or related).
Outstanding communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation.
Technically astute and able to understand detailed drawings and specifications.
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tenders at once.
Willingness to learn – full training provided by AusRAMD Engineering.
Confident engaging with clients and comfortable working in a team environment.
High integrity, proactive mindset, and problem-solving approach.
