Experience in multi-site management and experienced in QSR
Ability to identify sales growth opportunities in a business
Knows local (WA) area marketing
Ability to coach and influence on what good looks like to Team and Franchisees
Ability to read profit and loss statements and coach franchises' profit opportunities in their business
Team player and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty
Ability to manage multiple tasks and is a good time manager
Sales and profit growth driven
Discipled with compliance, especially around food/customer and team member safety
Ability to prepare reports and communicate to FP’s in an efficient manner
Ability to use Microsoft suite of software.

The business operates under a franchise model and the opportunity now exists for the right person to join our team to lead Operations function in the WA market.
We are looking for a candidate who can manage Western Australian operations and extend its reach to help improve business operations and performance across the network. Your focus will be on working with our FP’s to enhance their success and the profitability of the businesses they operate.
We need a candidate that will be part of the WA Team and can work effectively with the operational parts of the business and the franchise stores. We believe in having a flat structure where you will have direct access to the Head of Operations. The Cheesecake Shop recognises the importance of effective Operations as a critical enabler across the business. We are looking for someone to join our team who can help us take store operations to the next level, benefitting both our Franchise Partners and the corporate team.
Responsibilities
Deliver effective store visits, building strong relationships with Franchise Partners and develop quality Operations Plans to improve customer experience, team member experience, sales, standards and profitability
Support new store openings and new Franchisees with post orientation training and business coaching
Conduct in store customer service training and product knowledge training. Ensure all Franchisees and store teams are engaged, trained and ready to execute all company promotions
Liaise with franchisee to execute marketing initiatives and encourage appropriate investment
Schedule and drive TML meeting process
Allocate time to effectively target, support and coach Franchisees in underperforming stores to immediately correct performance gap areas
Analyse the financial performance of every store within the area, using the Profit and Loss Statement to benchmark store performance and coach Franchisees towards better cost control, particularly focusing on the cost of labour and cost of goods
Conduct and complete various reports and audits – cake assured compliance, figure 8 report, friend of the brand report, council report, mystery shopper compliance, wholesale merchandising report, sales report & business reviews. Ensure that the franchisee is engaged and ready to implement require remediation actions.
Ensure successful implementation of any rectification / new store / resettlement work programs
Escalate ongoing performance compliance matters with proposed solutions to Senior Operations Management for review and direction
Ensure aggregator / on-line sales compliance
Facilitate wholesale for franchisees willing to drive additional revenue for their stores

Qualifications
Whilst some experience in food and beverage operations would be beneficial, our main requirement is for an emerging Operations leader who can translate business needs into real results. Attitude is key – we want you to own your territory and work in partnerships with the FP’s to achieve extraordinary results!
