Our client is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple retail sites, drive team performance, and nurture strong relationships with a portfolio of contracted schools across the region. This is a hands-on role offering the chance to influence both daily operations and long-term growth

About you:

You're an experienced multi-site retail leader who thrives on coaching teams, building strong partnerships, and delivering operational excellence. You're confident presenting to schools and stakeholders, and you know how to balance visual merchandising, rosters, and performance management with ease. Organised, proactive, and people-driven, you love seeing your region succeed through strategic planning and staff development. You're tech-savvy, resilient, and passionate about creating great customer and team experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting regular visits to stores across the Peel and South West

Leading recruitment, training, and performance management for store teams

Overseeing visual merchandising standards and new store setups

Managing store rosters and ensuring wage costs remain on budget

Maintaining strong relationships with contracted schools through termly visits and product reviews

Coordinating new product development and uniform changes in collaboration with school partners

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with non-contracted schools in the region

Ensuring compliance with company policies and upholding brand standards

You'll bring:

Proven experience leading multi-site or area-level retail teams

Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence liaising at school leadership level

Experience with visual merchandising, stock control, and store setup

Solid understanding of staff rostering and wage management

A hands-on leadership style and a drive to continuously improve team performance

A current driver's licence and the flexibility to travel regularly across your region
