Join a well-established national distributor servicing commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors with a vast range of essential products. As the National Procurement Manager, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of the procurement function, leading a team and overseeing both local and international supply chains. Your focus will be on improving sourcing strategies, strengthening supplier relationships, and delivering operational excellence.

Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you’ll drive smarter purchasing decisions, improve product availability, reduce excess stock, and ensure cost control and on-time delivery. You’ll also play a critical role in upgrading procurement systems and processes to support the company’s growth and customer-first focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage national and international procurement and purchasing operations;
• Build and optimise demand forecasting and replenishment strategies to maintain high availability while controlling stock levels;
• Analyse spend trends, and supplier performance to drive efficiency and value;
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, pricing, and service agreements;
• Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution across warehousing, sales, and operations; and
• Implement procurement best practices and support the ongoing development of your team.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years’ leadership experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally in a distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing environment;
• Proven track record in sourcing, inventory management, and supplier negotiations;
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and systems skills;
• Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business;
• Hands on, solutions focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement; and
• Full Australian working rights.
