Location: East Geelong, Victoria

Classification: From $33.41 per hour + 25% Casual Loading (Level 2 - Victorian Disability Services (NGO) Agreement 2019)

Shift Schedules: Monday - Friday and some Saturdays as required.

Are you passionate about gaming and making a difference? Have experience being a dungeon master in Dungeons and Dragons? GAMER is seeking facilitators to lead engaging, recovery-focused gaming programs that support individuals with psychosocial disability in achieving their personal goals. You'll use person-centred, active support models to build independence, social skills, and community connection through gameplay. Help us create inclusive gaming environments where every session supports real-life progress.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health and Interpersonal Skills Facilitator, you will but not limited to:

  • Facilitate engaging, goal-oriented gaming sessions using recovery-based and person-centred active support models.
  • Support participants to build independence, social connections, and interpersonal skills through structured gameplay.
  • Identify and address barriers to participation, using gaming strategies to support individual goals and NDIS-funded outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, and contribute to client planning and compliance requirements.

You will need the following:

  • Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent;
  • Current First Aid and CPR Training- within 12 months;
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check;
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate;
  • Working with Childrens Check VIC;
  • Experience with table top gaming such as Dungeons and Dragons
