About Us

CabinTech is a proudly Australian-owned business based in Yatala, QLD, specialising in the design, manufacture, import, and installation of modular cabins and transportable buildings. With over 200 cabins sold and a strong pipeline ahead, we’re expanding our team — and we’re on the lookout for a capable, motivated, and hands-on Workshop Foreman to lead our tiny home production and oversee on-site installations.

🛠️ The Role

We need someone who can lead from the front — someone who’s as comfortable on the tools as they are running a team. This role requires overseeing the day-to-day operations of our CabinTech workshop, managing production output, staff coordination, and ensuring on-time delivery of cabins across Queensland and beyond.

You’ll be responsible for driving production targets, ensuring quality control, managing delivery and installation logistics, and supporting the team on the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily cabin production and workshop operations

• Set and manage weekly/monthly production targets

• Coordinate installation logistics (cranes, freight, site access, etc.)

• Liaise with customers around delivery dates and site installs

• Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, inductions, and training

• Maintain high WHS standards and ensure compliance across the floor

• Troubleshoot production issues, support warranty resolutions, and assist with product development

• Work with suppliers and contractors to ensure materials and services meet expectations

🧱 What You Bring

• Strong experience in residential construction, modular builds, or cabin manufacturing

• Confidence in leading teams in a hands-on workshop environment

• Ability to manage customer relationships and installation expectations

• Knowledge of local council install requirements (a bonus but not essential)

• Experience with cranes, forklifts, or building/site coordination (tickets preferred)

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a calm, can-do attitude
