About Carbyne
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic automotive workshop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical components and systems specific to automotive applications. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis and simulations of mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and safety.
Testing and Validation: Plan and execute testing protocols for prototypes and existing products to validate design specifications and performance metrics.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, technicians, and production staff, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within vehicles.
Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues in existing automotive designs, proposing effective solutions and modifications as needed.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, testing results, and engineering changes in compliance with quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical designs adhere to industry standards and regulations related to automotive engineering.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop processes and product quality.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with automotive systems and components is a plus.
This position may require occasional overtime and flexibility based on schedules.
The role involves working in a workshop environment with exposure to mechanical tools and equipment.

· Competitive salary of $73,000-$95,000 dependant on experience
