ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a well respected commercial agency, with a strong reputation of providing exceptional customer care and service.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND ABOUT YOU
We are searching for a unique person to come in to support a busy Associate Director of Commercial Property Management. Things are very busy in this agency and the time has come to bring in a personal assistant who has worked within commercial property management. Each day will be varied, you will work across authorities, proposals, liaising with landlords, tenants, suppliers, tradespeople, insurance companies etc etc.

This role would ideally suit a strong commercial administrator, or a commercial property manager/assistant, looking to step away from portfolio management. You will understand commercial leases/tenancies and can come in and hit the ground running.

This is a full time Monday to Friday role (9am - 5.30pm) but there is the potential for reduced hours (perhaps even 4 days per week). Salary is $80,000 - $85,000 +Super.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborative support to the Commercial Director in all things admin
  • Attend to repairs and maintenance requests, obtain quotes for repairs, liaise with contractors.
  • Assist management of rental arrears, tenant invoicing, creditor management and portfolio budgets.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous Commercial admin/property management experience is essential.
  • Strong administration skills
  • Professional presentation and strong communication skills
  • Experience dealing with contractors regarding repairs and maintenance
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of initiative and time management skills
  • Hands-on approach and “can do” attitude

Skills and experience:

  • Commercial Property Management or Property Management experience is essential
  • Agents Rep cert/Cert IV in Property (Minimum)
  • Driver’s license and own car to be able to conduct site visits
  • Experience with Adept software or similar highly regarded
