About the Role
Service NSW is seeking a motivated and professional Customer Service Representative to join the team at our Casino Service Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in customer service who is looking to make a positive impact in the community.
This is an on-site role, and all shifts must be worked from the Service Centre location. The successful candidate will work a roster between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, and 8:30am to 12:30pm on Saturdays.

Key Details:

  • Includes two off-site training sessions (5 days each) in Penrith or Coffs Harbour. All travel expenses will be covered (receipts required).
  • Training: Full-time paid training (35 hours per week) for 8–10 weeks at the Casino Service Centre.
  • Post-training hours: Minimum 20 hours per week (4 hours/day).
  • Duration: Until 15 March 2026.
  • Pre-employment checks: National Police Check (High Risk) and two references.
  • Must be located in NSW – Only NSW-based candidates can be considered.

About You
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and contribute to our high-performing service team. You will have:

  • Typing, using a mouse and monitor
  • Strong email etiquette
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • 2–3 years of experience in customer service (call centre, administration, or retail)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in an office environment
  • Intermediate computer skills, including:
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems (training provided)

Preferred but not essential:

  • Previous experience in a government setting
