Senior Business Analyst – Corporate & Analytics

• 1 year Fixed Term Role
• $160k - $180k p/a inc super
• Melbourne / WFH flexibility (must be Melbourne based)

Primary Purpose:

Support the delivery of corporate, finance, and analytics strategies by driving digital initiatives and transformation projects. Collaborate with executives and technology teams to identify business needs, develop strategic solutions, and deliver end-to-end project outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain a digital strategy roadmap aligned with business unit goals
• Lead stakeholder workshops and interviews to gather requirements and identify pain points
• Translate business needs into actionable strategies and detailed documentation
• Prepare business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and impact assessments
• Deliver end-to-end analysis across discovery, design, testing, and implementation phases
• Create current and future state process maps and project roadmaps
• Monitor outcomes and recommend improvements based on initiative performance
• Align technology initiatives with architectural and technical capabilities
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and data insights for senior stakeholders

Essential Requirements:

• 7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in digital transformation or system implementations
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills including work with senior executives
• Advanced experience in business case development and strategic analysis
• Proficiency with project methodologies (Agile, PMBOK, BABOK)
• Skilled in user journey mapping, story writing, and workshop facilitation
• Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills
• Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or related field
• CBAP or similar Business Analysis Certification highly regarded
• Proficient with enterprise systems (preferably SAP), Power BI, Visio, Excel, Jira, Confluence
