About our team
Our School Performance Cluster Partner Team collaborates within and across BCE to provide specialised, multi-disciplinary support to schools. Our goal is to enhance student learning outcomes through informed decisions and sustainable processes. We offer differentiated support and advice in learning and pedagogy, literacy, numeracy, technologies, inclusive education, engagement, and student wellbeing, with focus on compliance, improvement, and excellence in each school context.

Summary

Leverage your expertise in strategy and collaboration across Brisbane Catholic Education, driving enhancements in operational efficiency. The Cluster Manager provides an essential role partnering with Senior Leaders - School Performance and the Senior Manager School Performance within school clusters to coordinate advice, resourcing, and support through a multi-disciplinary model responsive to school requirements. The role reports to the Senior Manager School Performance for supervision and effective delivery of multi-disciplinary services in the areas of curriculum, learning and pedagogy, inclusive education and student wellbeing with a focus on secondary and P-12 schools. In collaboration with the Student Learning Wellbeing team and the Senior Manager School Performance, the Cluster Manager will provide professional practice development for Senior Education Advisors across clusters. Working closely with the Senior Manager School Performance and Lead Education Advisors for specific advice in their field of expertise, the Cluster Manager ensures the right person is assigned to a school to support them in their requirements.

  • Salary: $150,827 - $167,576 + Super

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate and supervise the delivery of services, programs, and initiatives supporting school need.
  • Inform and support the development, implementation and evaluation of BCE strategic directions, policies, practices, and resources.
  • Manage a team of Senior Education Advisors to provide differentiated specialist advice and support to Senior Leaders - School Performance, Senior Manager School Performance, Cluster Managers and Principals for improved learning outcomes for all students.
  • Supervise and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team to direct professional support to schools to facilitate and enhance student-centred learning and respond to school requirements.
  • In partnership with the Senior Manager School Performance, work in collaboration with fellow Cluster Managers to provide resources and expert advice to the Senior Leaders - School Performance.
  • Collaborate with other Cluster Managers to advance use of data to inform, effective practice and program evaluation for schools.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Experience in working in a senior education role within a school and/or office environment, with post graduate qualifications in Education and QCT registration.
  • ability to analyse, interpret and translate educational data for a range of stakeholders.
  • ability to effectively coordinate, supervise and develop a multi-disciplinary education team with a differentiated and school-centric delivery focus.
  • Strong and productive partnerships with senior leaders, school leadership and teachers.
  • capacity to provide leadership, specialist advice and support within and across schools.
  • high level of written and oral communication skills with the ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive written records.
  • Knowledge and capability in the effective application of contemporary evidence-based practices in education.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Australian curriculum, QCAA 11-12 Senior Syllabuses, Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), Queensland Certificate of Education relevant legislation, and current research.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Full registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
