Mount Barker District Council is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic civil construction expert to join our operations team. With a customer-first approach, you will work in teams to maintain the district’s civil infrastructure in an innovative, consistent, safe and efficient manner.
In this role, you will be expected to undertake the maintenance of Civil infrastructure to maintain a high standard of safety and accessibility to the general public through undertaking a range of general maintenance duties pertaining to:
Kerbing and footpath
Concreting
Sealed and unsealed roads
Drainage and stormwater systems
Other Civil capital and maintenance projects
Our ideal candidate will have the demonstrated experience in civil construction and work health and safety practices. A minimum of an MR Truck Licence is required, with HC desirable.
