Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Cumberland and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
- Responsible for providing a comprehensive range of pharmacy services to outpatients and inpatients to ensure the quality use of medicines within the hospital setting. This includes but is not limited to drug distribution, manufacturing, clinical pharmacy services, outpatient services, drug information and education.

Essential Requirements
- Qualification: Full Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g., Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Registration: Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice
Selection Criteria
- Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated excellent therapeutic and clinical knowledge and competence in its application to achieve safe and efficient quality of care.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and have good time management skills.
- Well-developed written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently without supervision when required.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing a complex workload, problem solving and development and implementation of initiative.
- Current continued professional development plan relevant to hospital pharmacy and a commitment to participate in on-going education.
- Demonstrated ability to work cohesively as a team member and provide support to other team members.
