Fitting, Machining Workshop with Field Service (Team of circa 20).

Exceptional Negotiable Remuneration Package: AUD $150-170k, plus super, vehicle and performance incentives.

My client is a leading service provider in the area, operating a modern machining shop (with field service) looking for an autonomous branch manager to lead the further development of their business in Mackay and the Goldfields.

The branch operates as profit centre and the role is quite autonomous. The branch employs circa 20 staff and includes workshop, field service (breakdown), customer service and external sales staff.

The roles requires a highly experienced operator. We are willing to negotiate on the package to attract the best in town.

The ideal candidate will most likely have:

Trade qualifications as a fitter and turner, plant or diesel fitter plus extensive certificates in areas such as welding, electrical and hydraulics etc.

Post trade business qualifications (diploma level min) and strong commerical skills.

Strong customer service orientation and experience managing branch sales people.

Strong networking and BD skills.

5+ years of experience in similar roles.

Have a passion for team building and elivering exceptional results.
