We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant at Power Tools Plus, Cowra.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs

Provide expert advice and assistance to customers on tool and steel products

Assist customers in locating merchandise and making purchasing decisions

Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system

Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service

Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally

Requirements:

Previous retail experience, preferably in a hardware or tool-related environment

Strong knowledge of tools and steel products, including their uses and applications (preferred)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Basic math skills and proficiency in using a POS system

Forklift ticket (preferred)

MR drivers licence (preferred)
