At Sky5 Store, we specialise in Rope Access, Working at Heights, and Rescue equipment, supplying top-tier gear and expert advice to professionals who rely on safety every day. With a growing customer base and a reputation for trusted service, we’re expanding our team and looking for a capable, motivated individual to fill a Retail & Warehouse Assistant role. If you're experienced in Rope Access, Height Safety and/or Rescue—or have a strong interest in the field—we want to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, full-time position combining in-store retail support with warehouse operations. You'll assist customers with selecting the right gear, maintain stock levels, and help with picking and packing orders for dispatch. Work roster Tuesday – Friday (7am-3pm) and Saturday (8.30am-1pm). Key responsibilities:

• Assisting retail customers with product selection and advice

• Sharing technical knowledge on Rope Access, Rescue, and Height Safety gear

• Processing transactions and in-store inquiries

• Receiving, organising, and restocking incoming inventory

• Picking and packing online and phone orders

• Assist with retail displays, restocking showroom and stocktake’ s

• Maintain Sky5 Uniform Stores

• Receive incoming deliveries for other departments

• General Warehousing Duties

• Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• Knowledge or experience in Rope Access, Rescue, or Working at Heights

• A background in Rock Climbing, IRATA/SPRAT Rope Access, Working at Heights, firefighting, SES, or similar fields (highly regarded)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Good attention to detail and solid organisational habits

• A reliable, can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team

• Strong computer skills and comfortable interacting on social media

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.

Bonus points for:

• Previous retail or warehouse experience

• A forklift licence (not essential – training provided for the right candidate)

• Familiarity with inventory or POS systems

• Familiarity with stocktakes and stock counts
