About the role:

Azabu Group is seeking friendly and customer-focused Retail Assistants to join our team at our new patisserie located in the Sydney CBD precinct. As a Retail Assistant, you will be the face of our patisserie, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a delightful shopping experience for our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with a warm and welcoming attitude.
• Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
• Handle sales transactions efficiently, including cash and card payments.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the retail area.
• Assist in the display and replenishment of pastries and other products.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
• Support the team with inventory management and stock control.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
• Passion for pastries and an understanding of basic product knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
