The program

This unique initiative blends sport, leadership, and personal development. Designed to run alongside the Northern Tasmania football season, the program targets young people aged up to 19 who are connected to local football clubs.

Through interactive workshops, exciting outdoor activities hosted by guest mentors, and leadership training, young people will grow their confidence, develop their voice, and give back to the game they love. This program is all about building capable, well-led communities through youth-led action.

Your Role, Your Impact

As Facilitator, you’ll be the heart of this program, energising, supporting, and walking alongside the next generation of footy leaders. Your impact will go beyond running workshops, you’ll help young people grow their confidence, feel proud of who they are, and feel more connected to their club and community.

Key responsibilities:

· Engaging and coordinating young participants to attend workshops and advisory sessions.

· Connecting with young people to ensure they feel heard, motivated, and empowered.

· Facilitating youth-led discussions and co-create meaningful program experiences.

· Building strong connections through in-person engagement and creative communications.

· Providing administrative support such as workshop catering and data tracking.

· Collaborating with stakeholders to promote youth voice within local football communities.
