Position Purpose
As a Site Supervisor at DT Construction, your expertise across commercial and residential construction, renovations, and high-end fit-outs will be pivotal to our success. With your carpentry trade qualifications and leadership abilities, you’ll ensure projects are executed to the highest standards while maintaining timelines, budgets, and safety protocols. Your role will span projects in mining, government, defence, and other sectors, demonstrating the diversity of your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate on-site activities for commercial, residential, and renovation projects, including high-end fit-outs.

Lead and manage site teams, including subcontractors and tradespeople, to deliver exceptional results.

Ensure projects meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.

Interpret and review project plans, drawings, and specifications.

Solve on-site issues with practical, carpentry-based solutions.

Maintain open communication with clients, project managers, and stakeholders.

Oversee resource allocation and ensure efficient use of equipment and materials.

Qualifications

Trade qualification (mandatory).

Proven experience in commercial and residential construction, including renovations and high-end fit-outs.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.

Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.

Solid understanding of safety compliance and building regulations.

Proficiency with site management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).

Education and Experience

Trade certification in carpentry or equivalent qualification (required).

Minimum 3 years of site supervisory experience across commercial, residential, and fit-out projects.
