We’re seeking a commercially minded and hands-on Senior Management Accountant to join our team and play a key role in supporting business performance and financial oversight.

The Opportunity: Senior Management Accountant at Buttercups Childcare.

Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Management Accountant will lead month-end reporting, budgeting, and financial process improvement while working closely with senior stakeholders. You will also oversee the Finance Team and lead the continuing development of our offshore finance function in the Philippines.

In this role, you will:

Oversee month-end close and prepare management reports

Maintain budget models and coordinate quarterly forecasts

Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and monitor cash flow

Engage with outsourced finance providers and ensure accuracy

Support financial compliance, tax reporting, and supplier management

Identify and implement finance process improvements.

What you bring to the table:

CA/CPA qualification with 4–6 years’ experience in a senior or management accounting role

Strong reporting, budgeting, and Excel skills

Highly developed financial modelling and data analysis skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to identify and drive process and systems improvement
