We are seeking a Senior HR Advisor, who will be responsible for the delivery of coaching and advisory support for leaders for complex or unique operational queries, as well as escalated queries from People Advisory, owning matters through to resolution.

You will support and lead projects that contribute to the overall improvement of People and Culture, working closely with other Centres of Excellence. The role will work closely within the HR Business Partnering team to deliver excellent advice and drive a customer service culture.

Please note, this is 12 month, maximum term contract, where hybrid working is encouraged..

In this role you will:

Research, interpret and provide timely and high-quality advice to people leaders and employees on complex or unique matters relating to HR policies, benefits and employment terms and conditions.

Provide case management services relating to performance, behaviour, early intervention, or compensable/non-compensable matters and seamlessly handing over to the Employee Relations team where applicable.

Support the development and implementation of proactive people management initiatives to support identified people related strategies.

Coach leaders to address and resolve matters in line with legislation, company policies and procedures and most importantly our shared values as they arise.

Engage with other functions within P&C to obtain specialised advice required to resolve complex or unique matters.

Actively support and resolve complex escalated queries from People Advisory in a timely manner.

Collate and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to inform the development, implementation and evaluation of people related initiatives.

Identify trends in people data and proactively support leaders with education on specific topics related to trend data through training opportunities.

Lead and or support projects the contribute to the overall success and performance of P&C

Work with the Manager, HR Business Partnering and broader Business Partnering team to drive a strong customer service culture and to improve the operational performance of the P&C function.

What makes a difference for us?

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with experience in a similar role providing HR advice to employees or leaders.

Proven experience in coaching leaders to resolve people matters as they arise, through strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience interpreting policies, legislation and Enterprise Agreements and providing advice on related issues.

Excellent time management with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary.

Strong customer service focus, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
