The Opportunity

Work from home as a Part Time Senior Tax Accountant (contractor or employee) in a supervisory role and assist with our work review process. Flexible work arrangements for 0 to 15 hrs per week available. The role is ongoing with most hours from July to mid-December and February to April.

Job Duties:

Duties will include:

Review of Financial Statements and Income tax returns for Company, Trust, Superannuation Funds, and Capital Gains using our review checklist,

Review FBT returns,

Review Tax Planning workpapers,

Prepare drafting private ruling requests,

Research tax law questions,

Mentoring others in taxation and accounting.

Skills and Experience:

Over 4 years experience in Tax Practice,

Excellent knowledge using Xero, XPM, MYOB,& Excel is an advantage,

Good communication skills (both verbal and written),

Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook,

Positive and energetic personality,

Hard working,

Able to work and stay motivated individually and equally get on in a team environment,

The successful applicant must hold a relevant Degree. CPA or CA is an advantage.
