About the Role:
Drive Personnel are seeking experienced and safety-focused Underground Drillers to join our team with a client working on a Gold Site. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Sandvik DS512i development drill rig to support our drilling and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the Sandvik DS512i Drill Rig for underground development drilling,

Interpret and work from drill plans with accuracy.

Perform basic rig maintenance and fault-finding to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.

Complete pre-start checks and maintain accurate shift reports/logbooks.

Adhere strictly to site safety protocols, standards, and procedures.

Communicate effectively with shift supervisors, geologists, and maintenance teams.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating a Sandvik DS512i or similar drill rig in an underground mining environment.

Strong understanding of underground drilling techniques and practices.

Ability to read and interpret drilling plans and layouts.

Valid manual driver’s license (HR preferred).

Current working at heights, confined space, and first aid certificates (or willingness to obtain).

Ability to obtain a police clearance

Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

What We Offer:

Hourly rate - $90 to $100 per hour (depending on experience)

FIFO from Perth.
