About the role

Driving communications with a focus inward to our people, supporting thought leadership, inspiring and informing, this position will partner with key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Along with ensuring our people are well informed this new position to our team will also ensure the success of significant events to increase awareness and engagement.

- Expertise in developing and implementing inspiring internal communication strategies
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Communications, Events, Marketing or Community Relations
- Proven experience in copywriting, editing and proofreading
- Demonstrated experience in event coordination and supplier management
- Demonstrated enthusiasm in building a positive culture and delivering optimal user/stakeholder experiences
- Strong stakeholder engagement, partnering and influencing skills
- Effective time management, organisation and delivery to deadline experience
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent attention to detail
- Experience in developing community engagement and lead generation activities
- Experience across digital platforms such as Wordpress, Campaign Monitor and Sharepoint desirable
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months)
