As the Assistant Restaurant Manager at Hog's Breath Cafe, Hervey Bay, QLD, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations. In this a full -time position, you will work with a passionate team of hospitality professionals to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Effectively manage and motivate the front-of-house team to ensure efficient and friendly service.

Effectively manage and motivate back-of-house team to produce a high standard of food while maintaining efficiency and cost control.

Manage the day to day operations of the Restaurant and staffing levels.

Effectively work to achieve all set KPI's and targets while maintaining quality standards.

Assist with inventory management and controlling costs.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Foster a positive work culture and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members

Represent the Restaurant within the community and build relationships with local businesses

Assist with staff training

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a hospitality team

An understanding of financial management and a keen eye for cost control

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle the fast-paced nature of the industry

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
