This multi-disciplinary design practice is looking for a senior interior designer to join their team and work on high-end multi-residential projects. You will be key in driving creative and exceptional design solutions, while overseeing project teams throughout every stage of design and documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your leadership skills within an award-winning studio.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the design and delivery of multi-residential projects from concept through to completion

Create and communicate strong design ideas that align with client needs and regulations

Ensure all designs meet local planning guidelines, building codes, and sustainability standards

Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders

Build and maintain strong client and industry relationships

Contribute to design reviews and improve studio design processes

Assist with recruitment and mentor team members

Skills and experience

Working at a level equivalent to 10+ years experience in interior design

Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative interior designs, thoughtful material selection, and effective spatial planning.

Demonstrated experience in business development

Proven leadership experience

Proficient in industry-standard design tools, with a solid grasp of regulations (BCA, NCC)

Experience working on multi-residential projects

Proficiency in ArchiCAD

Outstanding communication skills including verbal and written

Ability to lead multiple projects and meeting deadlines

Strong team collaboration and relationship-building skills

Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and project management expertise
