About the role

FGI Developments' is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our large-scale livestock properties in north western NSW. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our farming operations, with a focus on maximizing productivity and profitability.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing strategic plans to meet production targets and improve operational efficiency

Overseeing all farming activities, including livestock management, crop cultivation, equipment maintenance and staff supervision

Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement

Ensuring compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations and industry best practices

Collaborating with the wider business team to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities

Providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Farm Manager or Senior Agricultural role

Tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science, Farm Management or a related discipline

Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and profitability on large-scale farming enterprises

Excellent knowledge of livestock management, crop cultivation and farming equipment maintenance

Strong problem-solving, decision-making and project management skills

Ability to lead and motivate a team of farm workers

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
