About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family Day Care Coordinator to join our team at Kids Family Day Care in Melbourne, VIC. As a part-time FDC Coordinator, you will play a vital role in overseeing the smooth operation of our family day care service, ensuring our educators and families receive the highest quality support.

What you'll be doing

Recruit, train, and support a network of family day care educators

Conduct regular visits to family day care homes to monitor and assess the quality of care

Facilitate the enrolment and orientation of new families

Manage the day-to-day operations of the family day care service

Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and standards

Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and reporting

Foster positive relationships with educators, families, and the broader community

What we're looking for

Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education

Significant experience working in a family day care coordinator or supervisory role

Thorough knowledge of the National Quality Framework and all applicable childcare regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with educators and families

Strong organisational and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail. Must have excellent computer skills in Excel, Adobe, ,Microsoft Word etc

Passion for the early childhood education sector and a commitment to providing high-quality care
