Plus 17% employer superannuation

About the role

The Senior Executive Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor is a senior administrative role responsible for the management of high level and complex operational and administrative tasks in support of the executive functions and the associated activities of the Vice-Chancellor and CEO.

The role provides a high level of practical assistance and management to the Vice-Chancellor and CEO, and resolves the delivery of business-critical tasks and individual projects for the Vice-Chancellor and CEO’s executive portfolio and Office.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience in high level executive support roles at a senior management level,

Strong communication (both written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills,

The ability to manage multiple processes and prioritise tasks,

A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information;

Superior organisational skills; and

The ability to work both flexibly and effectively as part of a team and also independently to deliver outcomes.

About the Vice-Chancellors Office

The Vice-Chancellor is the principal officer responsible for the management of the University and is accountable to the Council of the University. The Vice-Chancellor’s office comprises the team which supports the Vice-Chancellor to enable the effective managerial and strategic operations of the University.
