About the Role

This role oversees the delivery of a major access control project, ensuring alignment with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and managing all aspects from planning to completion. It involves stakeholder coordination, contract management, budget control, and design integrity across all five project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all project phases from initiation through to handover and defect liability
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure integration across project activities
• Prepare and manage documentation including risk, communication, and progress reports
• Oversee contractors and consultants to ensure project quality and timeliness
• Control budgets, monitor risks, and implement change management processes
• Ensure compliance with legislation and security regulations throughout delivery

Skills & Experience

• Strong background delivering construction and physical security infrastructure projects
• Experience managing consultants and contractors across complex builds
• Solid understanding of PSPF and Security Construction Equipment Committee (SCEC) standards
• Ability to analyse and review security designs for consistency and usability
• Skilled in procurement, work order preparation, and stakeholder engagement
• Confident identifying risks and adjusting plans to maintain project delivery timelines

Existing Negative Vetting 2 security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
