The Shacks Motor Group are currently looking for a Full time Group Vehicle buyer to join our team! Buying for 3 separate dealership sites, this is a Full-Time role, that involves working with multiple Used Car Managers & Dealer Principals. This is a BUYING ONLY position (no wholesale stress) meaning this role offers HUGE earning potential and uncapped commissions.

Responsibilities:

Purchase all makes and models of used vehicles in agreement with company targets and KPI's.

Acquiring vehicles from a variety of sources, predominately private purchases.

Evaluate the condition of the vehicles and estimate price based of market data, inspection reports etc, communicate with Used Car Managers and Dealer Principals before purchase.

Communicate with multiple areas of the business to provide an efficient experience for the customer.

Maintain accurate records of all vehicle transactions in a log.

Ensure that all vehicles are purchased in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Experience as a Wholesale Buyer or Motor industry experience in sales, desirable.

Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with a wide range of people.
